Born and raised in S.W. Atlanta, William Benson began giving back to his community at a young age serving food to the homeless at his church and at SafeHouse. Although he attended The Westminster Schools from 8th grade to graduation, prior, Will was a student in the Atlanta Public School system where he observed the effects of socioeconomic differences. After graduating and being selected in the first round by the Cleveland Guardians (then Indians) in 2016, Will formed Future Is Near,Inc.
Ramona Benson is a staunch believer in the adage,”it takes a village”. As needs arise, she daily swaps hats as an advocate, teacher, or consultant for youth, elderly, and those struggling. A graduate of Purdue University (BA) and Keller Graduate School of Management (MBA), over her 35 year career working in upper management for private sector companies, Ramona earned the nickname “Ms.Bottomline” for her ability to quickly access the bigger picture and see beyond obstacles to viable solutions.
Eric Borders is a tech leader and management consultant helping clients modernize systems and tech capabilities to drive operational efficiency and meet performance objectives. He has worked across industries including telecom, pharmaceuticals, transportation, and the public sector at the federal, state, and local level. A native Atlantan, Eric is also a graduate of The Westminster Schools, the University of Georgia (BBA), and has served on multiple boards aligned with his personal passions.
Bobby Kannady, a proud native of Decatur, GA, reflects on his roots in Gresham Park. He is a graduate and former student-athlete of Morehouse College, majoring in finance. Presently, he is a registered representative at Invesco, while concurrently pursuing an MBA in strategy and innovation at Georgia Tech. Bobby’s life experiences, combined with his passion for youth development, holistic wellness, and community, inspire his commitment to contributing to the mission and vision of Future Is Near.
Stephanie Khoury is currently serving as the Senior Director, Marketing and MLB Special Services at Wasserman, where she leads client services and supports talent and brand partnerships within the baseball division. Stephanie holds a Masters degree from The George Washington University School of Business, where she graduated first in her class and developed her expertise in marketing and business strategy. She also holds a BA in Communication and Sport Commerce from the University of Maryland. Prior to Wasserman, Stephanie has had roles with Jet Sports, The Washington Commanders (then Redskins), The Washington Nationals, the University of Maryland and more. Outside of her career, Stephanie is deeply committed to her family and community. She lives in Sarasota, FL with her husband and their three daughters.
